Why this book? When the idea for this book first entered my mind, I rebelled against the situation where I was tired of being what I "should" be. As a child, I had to be the perfect student and behave impeccably. As an adult, I had to be the ideal partner in a couple, maintain order in the house, be a wonderful mother, find a stable job, and become the perfect boss. I was expected always to look good when leaving the house. It all reached a culmination when I became seriously ill. It was only then that I eliminated the words MUST and PERFECT from my vocabulary. Living imperfectly is such a relief! Finally, I feel free and happy to be alive.

This book is a declaration and dedication to all those who feel they are not enough or that they must do and be more, and more, never enough. Dare to be who you are: complete, wonderful, and unique. Perfectly imperfect!
